Who we are
Algebraic Mind Student Hub is a mathematics learning service operated by Asela Kasthuriarachchi in Sri Lanka. For privacy questions or account requests, email support@algebraicmind.xyz.
Information we use
We process your name, email address, account identifier, selected avatar, sign-in details, resource requests and access approvals. We also record learning activity, including time spent in notes, videos and classes, and earned badges. Messages you send to support may include additional information you choose to provide.
Google sign-in
Google sign-in is optional; you can use email and password instead. When you choose Google, Google and our authentication provider, Supabase, provide and store basic account information such as your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile image where supplied. We use it to authenticate you and associate you with your student account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts or Drive files.
Why we use information
We use information to operate accounts, deliver learning resources, show learning activity and achievements, manage access requests, communicate about the service, resolve support issues and protect against misuse. A resource request does not itself take payment. Any separately arranged payment or book delivery may require transaction or delivery details.
Service providers and sharing
Supabase handles authentication; Cloudflare hosts the website and stores learning records, access requests and resources; Resend delivers authentication emails; Namecheap hosts our support mailbox. These providers process relevant information to deliver their services and may process it outside Sri Lanka. Google processes sign-in information under its own privacy policy. External video and live-class services may receive information when you open their links. We do not sell student personal information or use Google account data for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses authentication cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember settings. Hosting and authentication services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and security logs. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and learning records while needed to provide your account and classes. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing support@algebraicmind.xyz from your registered address. We may verify your identity before acting. We delete information no longer needed, subject to legitimate security, dispute-resolution and legal recordkeeping needs; retained records and provider backups may take longer to expire. Account deletion ends account access. You can also revoke Google access through your Google Account settings; revocation alone does not delete your Algebraic Mind records.
Students and parents
Students under 18 should use the service with a parent or guardian’s knowledge and permission. Parents and guardians may contact us about their child’s account. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.
Security and changes
We use authenticated access and restricted storage for student records. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when our practices change and provide notice of material changes as appropriate.
